The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) organised a "Smart Goals" workshop remotely via the Webex program, targeting a number of employees from various authorities, departments and institutions in the Government of Sharjah.

The workshop aimed to familiarise employees with the importance of setting goals in a smart way, increasing their knowledge of the steps to implement the smart goals strategy in preparing the annual performance plan document, in an effort to develop and motivate performance.

It also aimed to clarify the importance of planning in determining the direction of work, developing strengths and improving weaknesses; as well as shortening time and effort, increasing productivity and achieving job satisfaction.

The axes of the workshop touched on the means of providing opportunities for staff development, encouraging creativity and accepting proposals and new ideas. The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources is constantly keen to implement educational workshops that promote job productivity , contributing in raising the job awareness among all government employees.
